Barcelona is the perfect place to begin an all-gay cruise, from Gaudi’s stunning architecture, traditional Spanish tapas, exciting gay nightlife, and the nearby seaside town of Sitges.
After a relaxing day at sea, we’ll be the first gay cruise to visit Casablanca, Morocco’s most famous coastal city. Bargain in the New Media markets, explore the Hassan Mosque, or head over to magical Marrakech. From there we’ll sail to the Spanish city of Cadiz, the gateway to historical Seville with treasures beyond your imagination.
Another relaxing day at sea gives you ample time to work on your tan and enjoy the welcome distraction of RSVP poolside activities and entertainment. Our 9 PM arrival in seductive Ibiza, leaves plenty of time to explore the Old City and sample their world famous nightlife. Return to your comfortable bed on the Nieuw Amsterdam before venturing out for a relaxing day at one of the island’s fabulous and picturesque beaches including Es Cavallet – one of the most famous gay beaches in Spain. There’s no hurry to get back to the ship, because we don’t set sail from this island paradise until 7 PM.
Finally you’ll spend a day exploring Valencia, where striking avant-garde architecture meets Spanish charm.

In crowded markets, jewel colours of indigo, saffron and henna dazzle in beautiful carpets. Relax in a streetside café and taste exotic spice in your food and mint and herbs in your tea. Or, take an excursion to Marrakesh to experience the labyrinthine alleyways and action-packed Djemaa el-Fna where you can witness snake charmers, singers, story tellers, healers and fakirs.

Cadiz, thought to be the oldest city in Europe beats to the rhythm of the waves along its shores. This “Little Silver Cup” has a lot going for it – a humorous, fun-loving people, dazzling beaches, museums, music, plus a whole lot more. The appearance of this city remains old, quaint but very kempt. As other Andalusian cities, it stands out for its Moorish architecture, narrow cobbled stone streets and the easy going personality of the south.

Ibiza has a reputation as a party island, but there is much more to this popular destination than just its excellent nightclubs. The island is the closest of all the Balearic islands to mainland Spain and has a 200 km / 125 mile coastline, with many small coves and over 50 stunning beaches. Ibiza Town (Eivissa) is the proud island capital and resides on the south-easterly coast, where it enjoys a protected harbourside setting. Eivissa has grown to become an enchanting tourism resort close to the Platja de Figueretes beachfront and has become a focal spot for nightlife in Ibiza. The Passeig de Vara de Rey is an especially scenic promenade and a good place for sunset views.

One of the largest and liveliest cities in Spain, Valencia is home to an enormous number of attractions, which are extremely diverse ranging from historic buildings and central plazas, to sandy beaches along the Mediterranean coastline. One of the main attractions is the City of Arts and Sciences an avant-garde complex of buildings, housing museums, an aquarium and performance spaces. Valencia is also famous worldwide for a typical dish, the paella valenciana that is basically made of rice and meat or seafood.
