From a quick bite poolside to a formal five-course affair (yes, we are still talking about food here), our chefs know how to orchestrate a truly memorable dining experience. Whether you're in the mood for a filet mignon in the intimate Pinnacle Grill, a burger and fries by the pool, or a low carb, kosher, vegan meal on your verandah, the choice is always yours.

Elegant dining options include:

  • The Pinnacle Grill: an intimate, reservations-only restaurant featuring Sterling Silver premium beef, seafood dishes inspired by the Mediterranean and many select wines rated "Excellent" by Wine Spectator, not to mention, distinctive Bvlgari china, Riedel stemware and Frette linens.
  • The Main Dining Room: five-course menus, from continental cuisine to vegetarian and low-carb, plus, an extensive wine list, all beautifully served in this elegant panoramic dining room.

Relaxed dining options include:

  • Lido Restaurant: dine indoors or out—for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This restaurant with a totally relaxed ambiance, features a variety of fresh, cooked-to-order specialties.
  • Terrace Grill: wear your swimsuit and dine right on deck while you feast on delicious freshly prepared foods.

Additional options include:

  • Explorations Café featuring pastries and espresso drinks
  • Daily afternoon tea service, elevated to Royal Dutch High Tea once per cruise
  • Ice cream bar featuring complimentary treats
  • Complimentary hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour
  • Hand-dipped chocolates in the Explorer's Lounge after dinner

The Main Dining Room

If you're in the mood to dine in style, make a b-line to the Main Dining Room. Each evening your server will present menus of sumptuous five-course selections, from appetizers and drinks to entrées and dessert, while a quartet plays soft dinner music. Savor seared sea scallops, filet mignon topped with crab and Hollandaise, and wines rated "excellent" by The Wine Spectator. Fresh herbs and imaginative combinations make lighter fare an equally tempting choice. We gladly offer a kosher menu and can easily meet special dietary needs upon request.

The Lido Restaurant—with its pool and terrace on one side and the ocean all around—is the hallmark of the ms Westerdam. It features an extensive menu, such as carved meats, fresh seafood, fruits and vegetables, pastas, and salads. And as always, impeccable service provided by our attentive, yet unobtrusive staff, is never far away.
